Who or what do you really love?

It's been a long time since there was a real update. Sorry about that. Hooked this thing up for Twitter and then left it to die for no real reason. Alright, first let's get some music going.
I'm still really politically involved, but I won't get to vote this week because either my absentee ballot never arrived or it was stolen. What a bummer. Hopefully things will still turnout okay. I'm actually kind of anxious about a Hillary Clinton win, I don't think really like her style and I think she is the only Democrat who could blow this election. That's why I'm supporting Obama, but who knows. Maybe that'll be in vain after all this.
There's not much else to report. I rarely leave the house and I still haven't made a group of friends. I don't know if I would even have time to see a group of friends, but there are some lonely nights. Hopefully I'll get my degree and then I can move somewhere else. San Francisco is okay, but it's just like any other big city.
Daniel Amos is a Christian rock band that made up for a significant portion of the music I was introduced to as a kid (among the likes of Talking Heads, REM, and Bob Dylan). Atypical of most other Christian music, Daniel Amos was very much ahead of it's time stylistically and also very critical of the hypocrisy of the Christian church. The recording above is from 1983, for example. They're a great band who've never really received the appreciation they deserve. Many Christians turned against them, feeling they were playing evil rock music and of course they were not popular with people of other beliefs. All the same, I've always really loved their music. Maybe you will too.
